Severe GERD 20 mg once daily for 4-8 wk. Maintenance: 10 mg or 20 mg daily. Active peptic ulcer disease 20 mg once daily for 4-8 wk (duodenal ulcer), 6-12 wk (gastric ulcer). Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Initially 60 mg once daily. May be increased up to 120 mg daily in 2 divided doses.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to rabeprazole, other benzimidazoles.
A02BC04 - rabeprazole ; Belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. Used in the treatment of peptic ulcer and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
